Dance is my language.
And I love to tell.
A story all of my own
I started out in dance when I was fifteen. A lot of people think that was late. Not me. Until then I had tried out all kinds of activities, within both music and sports. Flute andviolin, skateboarding and tennis. I was searching for something else; perhaps something that combined music and movement. I found dance.
All of my life I’ve been living out of a suitcase. And I still do. I have always been a traveler, living in different places. I’ve learned a lot – different languages, different cultures. And I’ve realized that I like mixing things up. Maybe it has something to do with my roots, from Italy and Finland.A mix between the warmth and the raw cold, between the outgoing and the introspective.
I have never felt at home anywhere – except in dance. Now I want to help more people find their way here. And to tell stories of their own.
With Diambra, I’m achieving my mission: to help dancers reach the goals of their dreams, and to give the world more dance. Really great dance!
”You are who you are. Show it!”
I have been on several TV shows, including Fame Factory, So You Think You Can Dance Scandinavia and the Freddy Lopez Show in New York. I have danced at the Seville World Expo in Spain and the Romeo & Juliet carnival in Los Angeles, and have choreographed both the World’s Children Gala in Sweden and Tokyo K-Broadway in Japan.
I have also competed in dance, winning titles in several competitions, including Hamburg Dance Competition and Finnish Streetdance Championship.
As a member of the dance group Bounce Streetdance Company (1999-2010), I participated in a number ofproductions that drew widespread attention both in Sweden and worldwide.
The dance styles I am most known for are hip-hop and contemporary jazz.
"Dance works as therapy, for both the dancing and the viewing public. Entirely without words, we can exchange experiences and share feelings."
