Our idea

At Diambra we don’t just train dancers. We train artists. People who want to express their own personalities with dance, and people who want to make a living out of their skills. We have a wide array of styles and brilliant teachers. Whether you want to take our one-year dance programme or participate in one of our dance classes or workshops, you can develop within hip-hop, jazz, ballet or other styles. Only you can set the limits for what’s possible. We’ll help you choose the right path – and follow it, wherever you want to go.

A personal expression

At Diambra, we like personalities and people who stick out from the crowd. Who want to get to know themselves, not just copy other people to fit in. We would love it if everyone who graduates from Diambra starts their own dance companies with their own style and identity, becomes a talented choreographer or just simply is known for being good role models on the dance scene.

Dance schools often try to put together homogenous classes where everyone is at the same level, mostly to make life simpler for the teacher while ensuring a smoother training experience. But at Diambra we make you, as a dancer, our starting point. We like mixing things up and encourage our dancers to make the most of their own personalities. And we love turning weaknesses into strengths.

Cultural and commercial

Diambra trains dancers to use their energy, technique and love of dance to give others joy and inspiration. We are constantly searching for new ways to express ourselves through dance, and let dance interact with other forms of expression, both cultural and commercial. At Diambra we also offer businesses and organisations the chance to tell their own stories, using dance to express them. Our dancers are regularly engaged in productions, gigs and events all year round.
